Contact exercises, walk to heel on and off the lead, sit, stay, lie down and recall. How to behave in various social situations (meet other people and/or dogs).
* Dogs that have done their puppy training and now are ready to take the next step.
* Dogs that need more basic training in general.
My training techniques are based on gentle, motivational methods. These methods are enjoyable to use and will also be enjoyed by your dog.

Gundog Training

We take dogs in for training for a minimum period of 2 months and train the dog to your requirement – as a well behaved peg-dog, for picking-up and/or for competition (field trials/working tests). |

1 x 1 tuition where you and your dog are in focus and we can help with addressing any problems, assess your dog, teach you how to handle your dog and progress further |

Training classes – a number of different levels ranging from basic training to advanced where the focus is on preparing you and your dog for fieldwork |
Obedience Training

Basic training classes (in Gretton Village Hall) where we cover heel-work on and off the lead, sit, stay, re-call, lie-down, retrieving and/or other activities |

Outdoors ‘Train-as-You-Walk’ classes with focus on socialising your dog in the company of other dogs and people |

1 x 1 tuition where you and your dog are in focus and we can help with any behavioral problems, assess your dog, teach you how to manage your dog in different situations

Our training principles are based on modern dog psychology, a success-breeds-success approach, reward-and-not-the-stick and establishing and building a fair leadership based on mutual respect. We believe these principles give a high degree of pleasure and allow you to enjoy many fun hours in human and canine company.
